The course was excellent and the pro shop staff professional and friendly. The day was very good and would definitely go there again. Unfortunately there was just one small blemish which I felt hard to excuse for a golf club of its reputation. We arrived in from golf around 5.40 to 6.30 to find no clean towels left in the shower area and the pro shop closed. So if put a damper on what was a vey good day.

Biot of a wet front nine - that can't be helped by course owners... an enjoyable day none the less. Would have two main comments - very poor directions - could do with a lot more next tee box signs. Also poor distance measurements. No markers ie 150m and 100m... Some shores had distances but not all.
A very well maintained course and enjoyable round of golf. -

We played Palmerstown Stud on saturday 21st Sept and we had a fantastic day, the weather was great, the course was in excellent condition, every hole had something different about it and we found the course to be a real test but very rewarding. We had lunch afterwards in the bar and this was also top class. All our members agreed that they would like to come back again next year. Dan Geelon.

The outing held on the 15th Aug 2013 had to be abandoned after four holes due to the terrible weather conditions on the day. The golf course were able to re-arrange another date for the 5th September and the green fees paid on the day will carry forward to the next day.
There were no catering facilities available on the day but we have been told they will be in place for the re-fixed outing -

The green were excellent. The bunkers were crap and very damp all over. The fairways were good.
The club refunded €5 per green fees which was appreciated.
